Grant access to SERMO projects

Simple icon depicting a user profile silhouette (black circle for head and rounded shape for shoulders) with a plus symbol in the upper right, indicating the ability to add a new user or grant access.

Here's how to grant end clients access to a SERMO Dashboard Analytics instance.   This will allow an individual user to access this specific dashboard using just their email address, without requiring broader SERMO credentials.

Choose "Project settings" in the menu button on the upper right of the page.  This button appears if you are logged in as a SERMO administrator or have admin access to this project.

Dropdown navigation menu from Protobi's top bar showing options: "Project home", "Project settings" (highlighted), "Download data as Excel", "Download data as CSV", "Project list", "Tutorials", and "Sign out". The menu header displays "Sign out" and "Dashboard" with a home icon.

You will then see the Admin page of your project. Press on the "Permissions" tab.

Once there you can add people to the project under "Add a colleague." Simply enter their email address and press the add button.

Protobi Dataset admin interface showing the Permissions tab selected. The page displays a current user "User, Example" with email "Pieter.Sheth-Voss.135700@sermo.com" and "admin" role. Below is an "Add a colleague" section with an Email input field and blue "Add" button, followed by three bullet points explaining user permissions and a "Send users an email" template section showing a sample URL.

Note that an email is not automatically generated and sent to this new user.

You will need to alert these users of their access. Copy the text seen under "Send users an email," and send it as instructions to sign into the project.
