## Introductions 1. Who we are (Protobi team, our background) 2. Who is on the call, and their responsibilities? 3. Project managers 1. Consultants 2. Analysts 3. Data specialists 4. Others ## Survey Basics 1. What are the basic project parameters? - Sample size - Survey length (warning flag if survey is long) - Any patient level data or other loops - Countries - digression into translations if appropriate - Timing: programming, soft launch, fielding ## Programming considerations 1. Who does the programming? (caveat on not truly our business, unless OWL or SERMO) 2. Extra variables for skip logics, sub quota, extra calculations 3. For sum-to-100 questions, ask programmer to zero-fill all respondents. Or have specific skip-logics available. ## Project walk-through **Upload data file** - CSV Format - META data - Translated to a basic structure - We put in JSON stored under elements **In project- organizing** The way questions are labeled can affect how the computer organizes the data. - General view - Every question becomes an interactive chart (element). - We can display them (elements) in different ways depending on how the question comes through. - If there’s are questions with sub question we group them together - Click to query - The key experience you will see is “if you click in one place the filter happens everywhere” - N= - The n box represents the total number of rows you are looking at - If you click in one place N becomes filtered - Current vs Baseline - You will see a highlighted area which is the current distribution - The thin black outline represents the baseline - To clear the base you can X out within the N= box - Formats dialog - computer readable (1,2,3,4) - In the meta data there are formats for each of the questions - NA - The NAs are not asked, not answered, not applicable - Crosstabs - Drag one circle question and put it on another one - If its an element, we can use it for the crosstab purpose. - Drag to crosstab button on the toolbar to crosstab every element **Features** - Element context menu - Each question (element) has one for changing rounding, statistical summaries - Colors dialog - Recoding - allows you to code open end questions - Green is copy yellow is move - In the recode you can dissolve you a particular group. - in JSON this is under “reformat.” IF that’s not want you wanted, you can delete it and restart the process - If you want to outsource that work there are 3 firms that can do it. If you have an internal process and a standard thing you deliver. You can send us that and you don’t have to use this too. - JSON - can edit JSON for specific attribute if you're comfortable - More properties - You can change commonly use attributes. - chart type dialog - Different chart types - Menu items have shortcuts - We use “shift” - Refer them to keyboard shortcut cheat sheet (to be written) - Scenarios button - Global button - Group context menu - Compacting scale questions - Display stacked ## Support resources **Tutorial site** I want to show you our tutorial site that gives you knowledge on how to do many things. If you have the time, or have a question use this site. I am happy to answer any questions you have. ## Administrative 1. Billing information
